It's Christmas Eve, when even the most voracious corporate climbers generally head home by dinner time. But not ANGELA (Rachael Nichols). She's the last one left at the office, determined to close one more deal before the holiday. You've got to give the makers of P2 credit: They've tapped a universal source of anxiety and stretched it out into a feature-length film. Underneath a Manhattan skyscraper, chic businesswoman Angela (Rachel Nichols) is knocking off for the Christmas holiday. Everybody else has cleared out of the garage--everybody but freaky-friendly attendant Tom (Wes Bentley), and his little dog too. Before long, Tom makes it clear that he'd like to have Angela for holiday dinner, whatever that! might mean. Our heroine must summon all her resources, and the challenge of a low-cut dinner gown, to fight back. P2 (no, it's not the sequel to P) at least allows Angela a measure of common sense, as she actually thinks of some logical ways to fight back, and director Franck Khalfoun (working from an idea by Haute Tension guys Alexandre Aja and Gregory Levasseur) does indeed get the most out of the parking garage location. But the movie's at a loss to make these two characters interesting in any way, even at the Coyote vs. Roadrunner level. Tom's little quirks, like miming a dance to Elvis Presley's "Blue Christmas," feel like a desperate attempt to add flavor to an otherwise standard-issue creepo. Bentley (best known for American Beauty) does have the face of an obsessive, and Nichols has the face (and did we mention the cleavage?) of a movie star, so they're not hard to believe. The conventional methods of clinical diagnosis of CL have ranged from clinical picture and epidemiological data, visualizing the amastigotes by microscopy of stained smears from skin touch specimens or biopsies to in-vitro culturing of the parasite. These conventional methods are, however, limited in sensitivity, need an experienced hand and d! o not distinguish between Leishmaniaspecies which differ in vi! rulence and, subsequently, may require different therapeutic regimes and control measures. For all this and over the last decade diagnostic tests based on molecular biology techniques i. e PCR, were introduced and proved to be more sensitive and specific. PCR protocols were given priority over conventional methods, although few of these studies gave conflicting results. These discrepancies are due to factors like the different gold standards being used to define a case of CL and sampling methods.Tuberculosis has plagued mankind since the beginning of time. It has been estimated that one third of the people on the planet have been infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis.The World Health Organization estimated that at least 180 million children aged less than 15 years were infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis worldwide.The infection is almost exclusively transmitted through air from patients with pulmonary disease. The risk of transmission is greatest if the index case i! s "sputum smear positive", and is directly proportional to the bacillary density in respiratory secretions.Children in contact with adult patients are at highest risk of getting infected, and hence contact screening is important for early detection of transmission of infection. This is of great value not only to detect infected individuals but for the community as a whole, because a child with tuberculosis represents recent and ongoing transmission of infection within the community.As pediatrician it is our duty to reach to the base of ice berg i.e. the children's pool of tuberculosis lying in the siblings of family.The chapters have been adequately illustrated with simple languages and explanations with departmental policies, procedures and simple techniques for infection control in addition line sketch diagrams are stipulated wherever it is necessary, wherever required the important definitions and terminologies are illustrated.The main theme of this book is d! ealing with the implementation of not only the HVAC System bu! t any a ny industrial unit dealing with the certain parameters can controlled through wireless sensors in a very efficient manner as compared through wired sensors.This project also made me to learn and in searching of so many peculiar things that i have never studied before.
